Trio118
Guitar, Rhodes and winds in constant dialogue.

Trio118 places interplay at the centre of its music. The repertoire combines original compositions by Rocco Papìa and Stefano de Bonis with works by contemporary Brazilian composers including Egberto Gismonti, Guinga and Hermeto Pascoal.
The project grew from years of collaboration in ensembles such as La Famiglia Scannapiece, L’Orchestrina Mhu and Jacaré. Composition and arrangement remain open to transformation through improvisation. Stefano de Bonis’s contribution expands the trio’s palette: Fender Rhodes converses with seven-string guitar and Tim Trevor-Briscoe’s winds, creating a distinctive timbral combination.
The page preserves the project’s materials within the artist’s historical archive.
