Árduo
Two guitars in a dialogue between jazz, flamenco and Brazil.

Árduo brings together Alberto Capelli and Rocco Papìa, two composers and guitarists working with instruments of distinctive character: flamenco guitar and Brazilian seven-string guitar.
After leading numerous projects and international collaborations, the musicians chose the duo format to develop an original sound in which jazz could converse with flamenco and Brazilian music. These musical territories provide the material for composition and interpretation that seeks its own voice within world jazz.
Alberto Capelli also brings the Mohan Veena and a musical background spanning jazz, Indian music and flamenco. Rocco Papìa contributes his seven-string flamenco guitar. The page gathers videos of the duo, the press kit and links to their album on Spotify and iTunes.
