L’Orchestrina Mhu
Music composed for the moving image.
L’Orchestrina Mhu is a chamber-oriented ensemble devoted to composing music for films, short films and video productions. Guided by Nicola Guazzaloca’s writing, it brings together piano, accordion and percussion, string instruments and voice, double bass and clarinet.
Documented works include «Ortobello» by Marco Landini and Gianluca Marcon, «Wash & Dry» by Tommaso Volpi, which received a music award at Palermo’s short-film festival, and the theme for Human Rights Nights 2007.
The archive preserves the shared work of Nicola Guazzaloca, Rocco Papìa, Luca Bernard and Tim Trevor-Briscoe in composition and musical synchronisation.
