Guanabara Funk

Guanabara Funk brings voice, electric guitar, keyboards, horns and a rhythm section together in an ensemble devoted to Brazilian music and funk. Cristina Renzetti sings, while Rocco Papìa plays electric guitar and contributes vocals.

They are joined by Federico Squassabia on Rhodes, electric piano and synthesizers, Roberto Solimando on trombone, Gaetano Santoro on saxophone, Andrea Taravelli on bass and Marco Zanotti on drums. The project is preserved in the archive of groups no longer active, with videos and recordings.
