Ganzá

Ganzá is a samba, MPB and Brazilian funk ensemble featuring Bahian singer and songwriter Mirla Riomar, guitarist Marcel Vallès, Rocco Papìa on bass and Jonas Santana on pandeiro.

The project brings together backgrounds connected with Brazil’s popular rhythms. Riomar explores samba, bossa nova, choro and Afro-Brazilian music; Vallès deepened his involvement in Brazilian music during an extended stay in South America. Santana, from Salvador de Bahia, combines experience in percussion, rap, funk and Afro jazz.

The lineup and its videos are documented in the archive of projects no longer active. References to recurring concerts on the original page belong to the historical documentation and are not a current schedule.
