Crava Luda

Crava Luda began as a quartet in summer 2000, taking a repertoire inspired by klezmer, Roma traditions and Balkan folk music onto the street. With two additional members it became Crava Luda Grupa, an ensemble of multi-instrumentalists.

Winds, accordions, strings and percussion form a flexible lineup: Grazia Negro, Giorgio Simbola, David Sarnelli, Tim Trevor-Briscoe, Rocco Papìa and Stefano Pilia weave together instruments and roles. The project is documented among the artist’s historical experiences that are no longer active.
