Corrias-Papìa Duo

Singer and composer Francesca Corrias meets Rocco Papìa in a repertoire of original pieces and new arrangements. From Björk to Paulinho da Viola, the duo follows unexpected paths through different musical materials.

Voice, seven-string guitar, loop stations and effects become tools for shared musical and timbral research. Corrias brings experience from Sardinia’s jazz scene, international performances and teaching jazz voice; Papìa intertwines guitar, voice and electronics in an exploratory dialogue.
