Cunabula Sonorum
Rocco Papia · Nikki Rifiutile

Testo originale in inglese.
Rocco Papia – Nikki Rifiutile
Two rotating circles inscribed in a cubic structure are swung, like a cradle, producing imaginary sounds of questions and answers in a kind of melodic breathing.
How it works: the tubes running along the rotating circles are half-filled with water. When the circle is swung, the water moves, displacing the column of air inside the tube and thus causing the flute installed at the end to play.
Rock gently.
Materials: polyethylene irrigation tubing, PVC irrigation tubing, rubber plugs, corks, metal from industrial waste.
